North African pipeline exports to Europe, Week 12

Pipeline deliveries from North Africa to Europe rose by 2.3% in Week 12 from a week earlier, to 367.2 million cubic metres (MMcm). This rise came despite a 4.0% drop in demand from Italy. Volumes have been unseasonably low over the past few weeks, mainly because of weak demand in Italy and Spain and low LNG prices that have made Algerian pipeline gas less competitive against LNG.
