Weak demand and an abundant supply of relatively inexpensive LNG saw the volume of pipeline gas delivered to Europe from North Africa fall by 35.7% in Week 10 from a week earlier, to 352.8 million cubic metres (MMcm). The Trans-Mediterranean pipeline, which carries gas from Algeria to Italy, registered a particularly significant decline, with volumes down by 65.2% week on week.
