Global nuclear power generation is set for growth, but the expansion will be driven almost entirely by capacity additions in China and India. Excluding Japan, nuclear output in developed economies is anticipated to decline by 20% between now and 2040. This decline includes planned capacity additions, which are not guaranteed to go forward.
