Global LNG imports and exports

BP has revised its forecast for the volume of LNG it expects to be imported and exported globally in 2040 as part of its Energy Outlook 2019, published on Thursday. The volume of gas traded as LNG is now expected to reach 871 billion cubic metres per year by 2040, 13% higher than BP’s 2018 forecast for 2040 of around 770 bcm.
