New LNG export capacity added worldwide, by year

This year will see the startup of a number of liquefaction projects on the United States Gulf Coast – including the Cameron and Freeport plants and the second train of Corpus Christi, the first train of which shipped its debut cargoes at the very end of 2018.

Around 33.5 mtpa of new LNG export capacity is scheduled to be brought online this year, including the Prelude FLNG vessel off Australia and Argentina’s small-scale Tango FLNG...
