LNG Croatia has picked a joint venture between Golar LNG and Stonepeak Infrastructure Partners to provide an FSRU for the EU-backed Krk LNG import project, LNG Croatia said on Friday.
The JV, named Golar Power, beat competing bids from Mitsui OSK Lines and Maran Gas Maritime after offering to convert the 13-year old Golar Viking carrier into an FSRU for €159.6 million ($181 million).
