Power of Siberia pipe-laying and welding 95.5% complete

Gazprom’s contractors have completed 95.5% of the pipe-laying and welding work on the Power of Siberia pipeline, the Russian monopoly reported following a meeting of its board of directors.

Construction of the Turkish Stream pipeline is also continuing, with 1,775 km of both lines having been laid, or 95% of the length of its undersea segment.

Both pipelines are scheduled to enter service before the end of 2019.
