Argentina and India will remain attractive destinations for LNG from Equatorial Guinea based on netback considerations.

The netback price from Argentina to Equatorial Guinea has remained high in the last few months, resulting in an influx of LNG from the African country arriving at Argentine shores. The netback price has averaged $5/MMBtu for September delivery compared with $4.6/MMBtu from Europe and $4.5/MMBtu from Northeast Asia. However, the netback price from India for September delivery has risen to $4.9/MMBtu, which means Equatorial Guinea could send more LNG there.
