Qatar’s diplomatic dispute with some of its Gulf neighbours has had a limited impact on its overall LNG exports so far.

Nevertheless, the conflict has affected trade links. The United Arab Emirates has not imported LNG from Qatar since the dispute started. Although supplies to the UAE via the Dolphin gas pipeline have not been affected yet, Qatar has not ruled out the possibility of an interruption if the situation escalates. The conflict did briefly disrupt the country’s LNG shipments to Egypt in early June.
