Russian production will see strong gains in March, while growth in gas supplies to Europe during the month looks likely to slow.
Increases in production from both Russia and Gazprom are expected to be seen in March. Russian output rose to 58.5 bcm in February, an increase of 10% year on year. Total output for March is expected to be around 60.5 bcm, a rise of 12% on an annual basis. Gazprom’s overall production was around 41.4 bcm in February and is expected to reach 41.5 bcm in March, up by 19% year on year.
