The Henry Hub front-month futures price is expected to receive additional support during the summer, helped by increasing gas-to-power demand and reduced gas storage injections.
However, spot gas prices in Canada are expected to remain under pressure in the coming months from weakening demand for gas and persistent storage builds. Meanwhile, lacklustre demand for LNG in Latin America will limit gains in regional spot LNG prices during the southern hemisphere winter.
