CNOOC enters EPC contract for Hainan LNG storage tanks

China National Offshore Oil Corp. (CNOOC), China's third largest oil and gas producer, has signed engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contracts with three engineering firms for LNG storage tanks at its LNG terminal on the southern island province of Hainan, the firm announced on 17 August.

China National Offshore Oil Corp. (CNOOC), China's third largest oil and gas producer, has signed engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contracts with three engineering firms for LNG storage tanks at its LNG terminal on the southern island province of Hainan, the firm announced on 17 August.

Japan's IHI Infrastructure Systems, Taiwan-based CTCI Corp., and China Wuhuan Engineering, have been contracted to build two storage tanks at the terminal with combined storage capacity of 320,000 cubic metres, the statement said.
