The growth of China’s LNG imports has the potential to set the pace for LNG trading in Northeast Asia. However, there is also considerable speculation about the potential for increased LNG imports into China in the mid-to-long term. Some of the LNG regas terminals which have been proposed are unlikely to ever commission.
