Gas markets in Europe are facing the prospect of major change. The policies that will dictate demand are being tested by new technologies and changing economics. In this Research Note we look at Germany, the UK and Italy – the three largest gas markets in Europe – and examine how power generation policies are likely to shape the development of their gas markets through the mid- and long-term.
