Norwegian maintenance to support NBP prices

Maintenance work at Norwegian infrastructure will support the NBP day-ahead as temperatures cool and demand rises

Bullish for NBP prices

Ongoing infrastructure issues in Norway have been supporting NBP prices, and Norwegian maintenance could continue to provide support in September.

Unplanned outages hit flows from Norway this month, supporting the NBP day-ahead. The price averaged around 42 p/th during August compared with 36 p/th in July.
