Positive for Kuwait’s gas production

Kuwait’s LNG imports have recently been buoyed by an influx of Qatari cargoes. However, Kuwait has been taking steps to boost its non-associated gas production to reduce its dependence on associated output and imported LNG. Consequently, the country has accelerated exploration and production at Jurassic non-associated gas fields, and this is already having an impact on its overall gas output.
