Declines loom for European hub prices

European hub prices are expected to decline over the coming week as demand-side support falls

European day-ahead prices have made marginal gains in recent days, but declines are expected during the week to come. 

The NBP day-ahead was up to around 40 p/th on Tuesday from around 38 p/th late last week. Stronger demand supported the price rise, as did reduced flows from Norway as a result of maintenance. However, this trend is not set to continue. 

UK gas demand is forecast to be 13% below seasonal norms on Wednesday, according the to outlook from the National Grid. Although unseasonably cold temperatures...
