Henry Hub front-month futures closed Monday’s trading session at $4.56/MMBtu, an increase of 1.8% on a weekly basis, buoyed by a slower-than-expected start to the gas injection season. Storage data from the United States Energy Information Administration (EIA) pushed front-month futures as high as $4.70/MMBtu on 10 April, the highest level since 10 March.
