Weaker demand increases pressure on European prices

Prices at some leading European hubs are expected to continue to decline as weaker demand puts further pressure on prices in the region.

UK gas demand is forecast to be below seasonal norms on Wednesday, according to the outlook from National Grid. This trend is expected to worsen over the coming days as above-average temperatures hit consumption. Even though colder temperatures pushed UK demand above seasonal norms at the start of the week, they failed to boost prices.
