Day-ahead prices have risen at Europe’s major hubs, but easing demand is expected to put pressure on prices over the coming week.

Severe low temperatures have hit major markets in the region, pushing up heating-related demand and prices. The NBP day-ahead was around 58 p/th on Monday, an increase of 8% from last week and a new high for the year and for this winter.
