The recent rapprochement between Russia and Turkey has reignited the prospects of the Turkish Stream gas pipeline. Following a meeting between the Turkish and Russian presidents, the two sides have given positive signals on the project. A draft intergovernmental agreement could be approved in October, and the project’s first line could be completed in H2 2019.
